Comments
from you along the way!
Sept 2001-- I just wanted to let you know Mr. Weldon, that
I very much enjoyed your visit to our church this Sunday past.
I was very impressed by your lyrical, and musical talents, as
well as your joy in spreading the gospel. I was also impressed
by how good our band sounded with you! Thank you for visiting
us at Crosspoint Church in Santa Maria. It was a great way to
spend a Sunday morning. May God continue to bless and keep you,

Sept 2001-- As our nation recoils from the horror of evil
it has seen, I am in AWE of God's amazing healing powers. He has
blessed us with the gift of seeing a country turn united to Him
in prayer - openly as led by our President. There is prayer in
schools - where it had somehow previously been banned; in work
places - where the need to pray finally outweighed the fear of
litigation; in our neighborhoods - where we were once strangers.
People ask where was God in all of this? How the sin and hardness
of this world has blinded them to His Goodness and Love. In the
midst of my own pain and heartbreak - I am torn by these feelings
of celebration of the tangible presence of God. I want to shout
my Savior's name from the rooftops - He is here with us!!
As I turn to my Lord of all comfort, I am currently listening
to the ministry of your music. At a prayer for our nation tomorrow
night, I will be sharing "Lord, Give Us America." I am even more
struck by "Along the Way" for He is with us always. I now even
more eagerly look forward to when you will join our congregation
in November for a special concert of thanksgiving.
I know you are protected by His arms of Love. May God bless
you and hold you close.

Sept 2001-- Penny and I have listened to your new CD over
and over (no, we're not done yet) and wanted to let you know how
much we enjoy your gift from God. I keep telling all of the "closet"
Weldon fans at work that they need to check it out for themselves.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you chose to re-record
your previous songs instead of just putting together a bunch of
old tracks (great idea). Please keep up the great work and may
God watch over you and Debbie. Our family looks forward to seeing
you during your visit in March 2002...

July, 2001-- I was looking around the internet
and saw that you were going to release a "best of" CD. I have been
struggling with my faith for a number of years now. When I got your
CD in the mail it took me back to a time when I would see you ten
years ago at Hume Lake Christian Camps, and once when you came to
(my city) here in California. It made me remember how happy I was
as a Christian.
In the last couple of years I have done a 180 from how I used to
be... then one day your cd came in the mail, and I started to reflect
on my life. I was not happy with who I was at this present time.
"Along The Way" helped me start to get my life back in order. I
still have a long way to go, but I am getting there. So I just wanted
to thank you because a great deal of me getting my faith back is
due to you.
So... THANK YOU, -- DW, CA
My wife and I purchased your CD "Revive" The song
you and Tom wrote, "Overwhelmed" has had a profound impact on me.
I believe in the lyrics you both have captured the essence of what
it means to be a Christian...to be so completely overwhelmed by
Christ in our lives that we never get used to it. The song inspired
my friend and I to "tag-team" a chapel at our Light and Life Christian
School with junior highers. In essence, we shared that before we
can really grow in our understanding and fear of the Lord (Psalm
19:7) and gain a heart of wisdom, we first have to be overwhelmed
with Jesus Christ.
I will be going to Albania this August to help with some training
of national Christians in church planting. Thanks for the depth
of your music in exalting the Lordship of Christ. I will take it
with me.
Yours for the Cause that counts, -- JE, Escondido, CA
I met you at Mt Hermon in 2000 and have been a
supporter and player of your songs. Just a praise note: I played
in SF last night at the "City Team Mission" and played "Strangers"
which again caused the Holy Spirit to opens folks' ears, eyes, and
hearts.
May God continue His blessing on your family and ministry. --

Hi friends, brothers and sisters. Thank you so
much for your time and talents given so freely to bless God and
others. My husband has really been struggling for several years
and last year he went to one of your concerts and now two more.
He really likes your style and music. Praise God with me! Just thought
you might be blessed to know on a personal level how your talents
have touched one more life.
Thanks for serving us and Him! -- Spokane, WA
My wife and I just spent the weekend at Hume for
a couples conference and listened to Wisdom Street over and over
on the way there and back. What a great album. You are very talented
and I thank God for putting the desire in your heart to share your
talent.
