After living alone myself for quite some time in my younger days, I can relate to leaning on the Lord
for security and companionship. Iāve met many people over the years who trust completely in the Lord for their strength.
This is a song of encouragement to anyone faced with being alone in the world today. Joshua 1:8-9 says "Have I not
commanded you? Be strong and of good courage for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
Recorded at the office in San Gabriel, spring of Ī86. Received national airplay for several months in
1986.

Never Alone
High above the city lights a young lady turns the key in her door
Locking out the world tonight like so many times before
Kicking off her shoes she recalls how she used to be afraid
Of the company of silent walls but now her life has changed
chorus She's all by herself but never alone
Her loving father takes care of his own
'Lo, I am with you always'
You're never alone, you'll never be alone
She used to be a party girl dancing her fears away
Reaching out for the better life but it never quite came
A faint smile comes to her face, she remembers times gone by
It seems so far behind her now and she knows the reason why
