The Pure adventure song had been a big hit at Hume Lake and it was the first time we'd tied a song to
the theme of the camp. Return To Paradise was the second effort one year later. The song was written to challenge
people on their values - what's really important in life?
Recorded at Coyote Run Studios in spring of 1990. First released on Cross The World (1990).
Credits: Joel Weldon - Lead vocal, guitars, bass, background vocals; Wendel Morden -
Keyboards; Timothy Jones - Drums, percussion; Steve Mills - Background vocals; Chris Merkling -
Background vocals

Return to Paradise
Paradise, Paradise
Gotta get back to paradise
Filled my life with money and material things
Worked like a dog so I could live like a king
Tried to look sharp, I was dressed to kill
But my senses were dull, I was losing the thrill
chorus Paradise, paradise
Gotta get back to Paradise
So many roads, too much advise
But there's only one way to a better life
I've got to get back to paradise
I know that there is hope 'cause I glimpsed the other side
We once lived in the garden but we fell because of pride
Now I'm falling to my knees realizing what I missed
And I'm reaching out to God with my dirty little fist
bridge Sometimes the path is so hard to find
But you give sight to the blind
